Putting Processes In Place

Yesterday on Smashing the Plateau, Matt Perlman discussed why aligning your personal goals with your business goals is key to building a successful business.

Here are some of his biggest influences:

1) Robert Kiyosaki

Early in my adulthood (high school), his books opened me up to a new dynamic of how things could be and go in my work-life, outside of what “I knew.”

2) Michael Gerber

He has terrific suggestions on how and where to create processes, specifically with service-based businesses.

3) My Leaders, Coaches, and Classmates

In all of the personal development courses I’ve taken, I thank these people for graciously showing me how to own leadership and be powerful, to create what I want for myself, and how to empower others to do the same.

4) Malcolm Gladwell

His process of research, deduction and storytelling comes across so powerfully in his writing style. Those tools have allowed me to re-evaluate how I write and share information.

5) My Wife and Family

I love being around them. My wife and son give me constant joy, which allows me to keep on building the life we want.
