Peter Thomson’s 4 Top Influential Figures In Business
Yesterday we brought you Peter Thomson, a veteran business and personal growth strategist and whiz at creating and marketing information products. (If you missed Peter, go back and listen here.)
Peter has turned to many people in his career for help and inspiration. Here he’s offered his top 5, with the hope that others can be inspired like he was.
Objectivism is a philosophy we should all understand. As entrepreneurs, we have to trust ourselves and look at naysayers as cheering us on. It’s important to be self-reliant. This book should be mandatory reading in all schools.
Sadly, Earl died some years ago, but his messages live on in audio/video format. His seminal work: Lead The Field was the fist audio programme I bought. Life changing ideas. I re-voiced the programme for Nightingale Conant for sale in the UK market.
3. Brian Tracy
The major player in the ‘potential’ arena. Learned so many ideas from Brian’s programmes and from meeting him over the years, especially the Psychology of Achievement and the Psychology of Selling.
I interviewed Roy for my audio newsletter, and he taught me the difference between relational and transactional customers. It’s always important to keep learning, even as you find yourself hitting successes.
5. Ted Nicholas
The number 1 copywriter in the world. Awesome man and gentleman. The source of knowledge for anything to do with marketing and someone I deeply admire.
