Empowering Your People
Yesterday on Smashing The Plateau, Hollie Mileski discussed what it means to be a conscious leader, and how empowering your people will better their lives and better your business.
Here are some of her biggest influences:
Her poem, The Deepest Fear, has become a go-to resource in times of fear and uncertainty. It keeps me focused on my purpose and my gifts in order to bring those to the world! It’s powerful!
2) Dan Shundoff
Dan has built a lovely organization in Nebraska, in which he is truly generous to the organization and community. If all businesses were led with his sense of integrity and consideration of others, the world would be a much finer place.
3) Garry Ridge
He is a true servant leader, and he has created a tribal culture at WD-40 focused on “doing the right thing.” He exemplifies the strength of character and fortitude required to build this culture over time. They don’t have mistakes at WD-40, they have learning moments.
Tracey works with women leaders in finding their true voices, to navigate their fears and what’s holding them back. Working with her, I found the courage to step out of corporate and create Highjump Leadership.
She is the best leader I’ve ever worked for in the consulting industry. She models servant leadership, and she saw something in me that I didn’t know about myself early in my career. She knew my intuitive nature was to serve people and to lead change.
